Duties included the following:
Supervised and managed 8 direct reports with a 4 MM dollar plus budget for both US and
Canada Regions.
Successfully maintained "Satisfactory" Rating with FMCSA (DOT) audits conducted by Federal
Department of Transportation in 2007, 2011, and 2016 which included 1,200 drivers and 3,000
pieces of equipment across 200 locations.
Successfully implemented the use and enactment of JJ Keller's Encompass System as a database
for regulated drivers and equipment. Electronic On Board Recorders and were ready for
installation to be placed by the end of December 2017 per Federal Regulations.
Provided continual adherence to Federal Policies and procedures for record keeping, training in
Hours of Service, daily vehicle inspection reports, vehicle maintenance documentation and
record keeping as well as required drug and alcohol training and testing.
Wrote and implemented a Driver Policy for all U.S. and Canada drivers (approximately 7,500
designated drivers), which included a point system for evaluating employees through procedures
and continual MVR (Motor Vehicle Records) monitoring.

Lead Safe Driving Committee for review of drivers and consequences based on point system and
to further driver improvement.
Oversight of all accident and vehicle investigations.
Developed and implemented company D&A policy as it applies to the entire workforce (300
locations and 20,000 employees).
Developed and implemented quarterly random drug and alcohol testing procedures and
guidelines per company policy as well as customer requirements and assure testing was
completed as directed. Interfaced with HR on testing results, notifications and procedural
activities related to test results on a going forward basis.
Responsible for implementing “Reasonable Suspicion” testing procedures and ensured
compliance and procedures were implemented for management, supervisors and HR.
Supported HSE department and personnel in HSE compliance, accident investigations and
facility inspections as well as work closely with the Workers' Compensation department and Risk
Management regarding insurance.
Worked closely with and assisted the Fleet department on policy and procedures for vehicle
procurement/disposal and driver responsibilities.

Party administrator for fuel purchases, monthly mileage reporting,
required maintenance, accident reporting to HSE and insurance carrier.
