Time just flies. These five years in RIMT Institutes has given me a lot. Five long years
just went by and now I am on the envil of completing my study in RIMT- College of
Architecture.
The final year thesis in the B.Architecture evolves the complete designing process,
demanding precision and finesses to the minutest of the details. Standing at the end of the
road as I look back there are a lot of people whose help and support has guided me, to and
through this last effort as a student of Architecture final year thesis, I would like to thank

6. TOPIC :
EXOTIC INTERNATIONAL TOURIST RESORT
•A resort is a place used for relaxation or recreation, attracting
visitors for holidays or vacations. Resorts are places, towns or
sometimes commercial establishment operated by a single
company. Such a self-contained resort attempts to provide for most
of a vacationer's wants while remaining on the premises, such as
food, drink, lodging, sports, entertainment and shopping.
•Rapid economic starting early nineties had a dramatic and
immediate impact on the hospitality and leisure industry in India.
The economic boom creates a huge increase in leisure and
business travel, also attract NRI’s to visit India more frequently and
in large numbers – for family leisure and business purpose.
•With the pace of development it has been witnessed the growth of
number of way side highway resorts; country resorts to provide
urban requirements with in semi-rural environment , recreational
theme based on live in parks etc. resort development has now
become a big time business.
TRENDS IN RESORT DESIGN:
• Any resort must particularly satisfy two demands i.e. relaxation
and in tune with the atmosphere of the location and it must provide
adequate recreational facilities .
7. •Resort development sites generally have a harmonious
combination of both the built environment , including buildings , and
the physical environment such as climate , specific site
characteristics and scenery.
• In most instances , the elements of the physical environment
provide Natural factors have been the basis for the development of
an area and the man made facilities were designed to develop the
area .
• Building and landscaping are generally designed to develop the
sites and the area.
•In other cases , the features of the built environment man made
features enhance what may be considered ordinary physical
features.
8. VALIDITY & VIABILITY
GOOD TOURISM PROSPECTS:
The site is near greater noida with beautiful landscaping , so will
attract lot of tourist from the city foreigner for NRI to this beautiful
zone of this area.
Connected with fairly good all weather metal-led road with taj
express highway .
It has all the facilities of bus services , electricity etc.
And metro facility also provide because metro proposed in greater
noida.
USER GROUPS:
Local tourists , foreigners , artists.
But if the reasonable facilities like :

Boarding and lodging are provided, the tourism will get great boost
and tourism will increase manifold.
VIABILITY
• This resort is viable for tourist resort because in greater noida and
noida and NCR area tourist visit.
•In greater noida and noida most famous places area NRI-city,
jaypee golf course,gautam Buddha university in greater noida and
in noida is film city Buddha park(heritage centre) and noida city
centre.
•And other proposed places night desert safari,sunworld city, and
taj airport in greater noida.
•Taj highway join the main cities greater noida ,noida
,delhi,mathura agra etc. so site proposed on this highway.

10. SITE SELECTION:
• The site selected is plane site having an area of 9.85 acres.
• It is lying on the road contiguous with the taj express highway
road near to the village jajanpura.
• That site it could be well explored and can give a good river
view . And at the same time the designing could be such that it
may delineate the cultural of that area or can be any theme
based resort which not only serve as a relaxation point but can
also be on interesting place to visit.
SURROUND AREA:
• The site surrounding by the green area and at the back
Yamuna river.
• The site surrounding by the small village jagunpur and f1is 5 km
from the site.
• The site 5kmt from the Gautama Buddha university and 15 km
from the NRI city greater noida.
• The site have 30 km from the proposed taj-airport jewar greater
noida.

11. LOCATION:
• The site IS on taj express highway about 15 km from
pari chowk and 5km from G.B.U.
• The bus stand is 18km from the site, 30km from
proposed air port in jewar and 15km from the
proposed metro station near the pari chowk in greater
noida.
• The site is 9.85 acres and the site fall near tech zone
in greater noida.
• The site is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh .
• It is a free from fast life , pollution and jungles.
• The site is near the jajanpura village and back site of
the site Yamuna river passing through it .
12. METHOD OF STUDY:
•Library study and internet surfing will be done for the standards
and data related to this topic.
•Case study of some resorts in India should be done from which
the requirements of the project will be finalized.
DOCUMENTATION METHODOLOGY:-
The design proposal will be divided into two parts:
ANALYSIS:-
The design problem and its content will relate to study of similar
type of tourist resorts ( case study ).
PROPOSAL:-
Set of ideas will be prepared to be used for the proposal.

14. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:-
It includes the amenities that an area has to offer including its
scenic attraction , and recreational facilities and activities.
AIMS:
•To fulfill the need of accommodation for tourists.
•To generate enough revenue to be added up in the economy of
the state.
•For revenue generation various facilities can be provided as
Health club, spa center and recreation areas etc.
•Refreshment activities:- different types of games and fun activities
etc.
•Relaxation.
OBJECTIVES:-
•Create a healthy environment for tourists to spend their best time.
•preserve the beauty of greater noida will all the comforts of
tourists.
•To promote leisure activities.
•The functional aspect of resort will be emphasized.
•Evolution of an appropriate site planning which includes proper
space for the various requirements designing of open spaces will
be incorporated.
•Parking facilities.
•Landscaping and designing of outdoor open spaces.
•There will also be an attempt to create an environment of social an
culture moments with in the resort.
