PRODUCTIVE BEHAVIOR IN AN
ORGANIZATION (FOR EXTRA-ROLE
PERFORMANCE)
The Productive Behavior (Abstract)
In this research productive behavior has been
described as the behavior of employees
which they engage while at work. The
behaviors of employees that were observed
according to their specific jobs (In-role) and
such kind of extra-role performances, those
were performed by the employees of the
organization. As mentioned in the research
paper, the main objective described here or
main focus in this research that was observed
is extra-role performance (Tasks, Activities)
of the faculty of different departments. The
purposive sample consists of 5-6 employees
either (male or female) targeting to interview
employees between ages 20 to 40 years. To
know about the views and opinion of
employees, faculty was first served
questionnaire for their common introduction,
then introduce them with the specific
research. According to the research
performing an extra-role felt to be a burden
on employees, as they were not rewarded for
performing extra-role, So it gives a negative
impact and burst their satisfaction level.
