 Monitor the Distribution Control System (DCS) readings and alarms of performance parameters and
take appropriate action to correct deviations from established standards to ensure continuity of
operations and provision of electric power in a safe and reliable manner according to load demands
 DCS operating of HRSG (heat recovery steam generation ) and its auxiliary such as HP&LP pumps,
valves, pumps, heat exchangers, fans, gauges, transmitters, damper and working in the emergency trip
of HRSG.
 DCS Operating and monitoring of steam turbine 140 mw (ALSTOM) and its auxiliary such as control
oil circuit, lubrication oil circuit, condensate circuit, circulating water circuit, steam bypass circuit, gland
circuit and compressed air circuit.
 Operating and testing automatic sprinkler firefighting system.
 Recording data, reading trends, gauges and manuals.
 Ensure plant is running at optimal level, by reading trends and paying attention to detail to notice
possible problems before they happen.
 Report all plant upset conditions during shift.
 Prepare assignments accordingly.

 Carrying out plant mechanical tests and start-up of the turbine and it’s auxiliaries.
 Identifying and analysis technical problems, watch for defects and find solutions, ask for adequate
technical support and report problems.
 Carry out starting, normal operation, shut-down and stand still.
 Troubleshooting analysis.
 Analyze turbine faults, investigate and recommend solutions.
 Monitoring all readings of pressure, temperature, flow rate, vibration, valve position, liquid levels and
power generated.
 Taking all steps to restore the normal operating condition in case of readings change due to causes not
associated with the normal operation.
 Complete standard reports (weekly + end of mission) and other administrative requirements.

such as control oil circuits ,lubrication oil circuits ,four units of air compressor and Atlas

system, fuel oil system, fuel gas system and ignition gas system
 Trouble shooting analysis.
