• Qualitative Variables
- These are variables which cannot be measured quantitatively or
cannot be expressed numerically, like: gender, civil status, educational
attainment, stress, depression etc.

9. Formulating Research Question
• A research question is an answerable inquiry into a specific concern
or issue.
• It is the first active step in the research project.

10. Formulating a good qualitative purpose
• A statement that provides the major objective or intent or roadmap
to the study. Complete the following criteria:
- Include the sentence of the study
- Include the central phenomenon
- Use qualitative words like explore, understand, discover
