Definition of MAV
   Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) is defined here as a
    small, portable flying vehicle which is designed for
    performing useful work. Or




   MAV is a very small airborne autonomous vehicle that
    can operate inside a building using primarily
    visual and other sensory information
    to navigate
MAV Mission
   Micro Air Vehicles is capable of a wide range of useful military
    missions and among them are;

   Surveillance missions (over the hill)
    Infrared images of battlefields and urban areas (around the
    corner)

   Hostage rescue
   Mine detection in war zone

   Damage assessment in war zones

   Proximal reconnaissance

   indoors or outdoors
   Targeting

   Bio-Chemical Sensing
   Anti-Terrorism Action

   This task can be assigned to different types of robots

   To patrol borders as means of preventing illegal immigrants
