I joined Stargate logistics as an operations manager and have since built up the team to become
efficient and reliable. In the peak I would be in charge of up to 60 people.
I moved on to stocks and projects so to broaden my knowledge and skills.
My target for stock accuracy has now reached 99.1% across all contracts and 12 months I regularly
achieved this with my staff. I have also been responsible to set up any new contracts that join our
company.
The company brought a new warehouse management system which I had been heavily involved in
the set up and commissioning of.

Warehouse manager, took control of the warehouse corrected stock lists and completely rearranged
the warehouse, which was in a bad state of decline. In charge of two members of staff . Took on the
purchasing side of the business.- Monthly stock takes and health and hygiene.

Started as a warehouse operative and progressed to night shift manager in charge of 12 staff and the
running of the warehouse, ensuring that customer orders are completed and despatched on time,
health and safety, training members of staff in all aspects of their position, In April 2001 Wincanton
took over the distribution side of the business. I have been involved in a warehouse move and
settings up the existing warehouse .I have also planned a walk through sequence.
