You have to support this trend with
the most important information from the
diagram or map(s).
Don’t copy the test question-paraphrase
it
Coherence & Cohesion
When something has coherence,
all of its parts fit together well.
Coherence:
The act or state of sticking
together tightly
Cohesion
Coherence:
The ways a text makes sense to readers &
writer through the relevance and accessibility
of its configuration of concepts, ideas and
theories.
Cohesion:
The grammatical and lexical relationship
between different elements of a text which
hold it together.
Lexical Resource
What it is:
The range of vocabulary which you use
accurately for conveying your intended
meanings. The wider your range, the higher
your score.
The aspects of vocabulary will be assessed:
Spelling
Range
Tone
Topic-related
Synonyms
Collocations
Grammatical Range & Accuracy
Simple Sentence
Compound Sentence: FANBOYS
Complex Sentence: When, while, whilst
Whereas, until, after, before,though etc.
