Abeinsa started its T&D activity in 1944, when
the company installed a 15 kV transmission line
and a transformer station in Spain. Twenty two
years after the beginnings of the activity,
Abeinsa started the construction of its first
transmission line abroad. Specifically, a 500 kV
transmission line in Argentina. Today, the

electrical substations in more than 30 countries

Abeinsa started its photovoltaic activity in 1992
in Spain with the construction of the PV plant
“Toledo PV”, with 1 MW of peak power. This
plant was the first commercial PV plant in Spain
