Online shopping or e-shopping is a form of
electronic commerce which allows consumers to
directly buygoods or services from a seller over the
Internet using a web browser

1. Studies showing the trend of increase in online
shopping.
2. Reasons why there have been such an increase in the
recent years.
The respondents were spread across Islamabad (22%),
Mumbai (Karachi%), Multan (9%), Lahore(17%),
Peshawar (6%),
Hyderabad (12%), Muzaffarabad (7%) & others (2%).
Online shopping in Pakistan, saw 128% growth in interest
from the consumers in the year 2020 to 2021 in
comparison to only 40% growth in 2018 to 2019, making
2020 the tipping point for online shopping in Pakistan.
As per the research, 90% of online shoppers are planning to
buy more products online which reflects on the positive
experience of the users.
Top Product Categories which have been bought online by
the customers in Pakistan from the year 2020 to 2021.
