Saudi Electricity Company is the sole electricity company in the whole Kingdome
of Saudi Arabia.
 Working as Project Manager for all matters related to construction of
substation, to insure the provision of all the equipment’s & systems with
quality assurance, Safety, for 380 kV & 132 kV new sub stations &
reinforcement/ up gradation of existing substations.
 Has overall responsibility to arrange the FAT witnessing & approval of
FAT test results with proper coordination of respective divisions & main
contractor as per project schedule.
 Supervise the Reviewing & approval of Designs, Installation, Testing and
Commissioning of all equipment and systems for Substations, with the
coordination of respective divisions.
 Supervise the Reviewing& approval of Designs, Installation, Testing and
Commissioning of all Communication equipment and systems for
Substations & associated equipment with the coordination of respective
divisions.
 Arrange and conducting regular weekly & monthly meetings with
contractor, to insure & monitor the project progress as per schedule in
order to achieve the targeted dates.
 Arranging third party Inspection of S/S equipment’s & material in
coordination with contractor as per specification, approved drawings and

 Supervise & Manage all the Installation, Pre-commissioning and
commissioning testing of new substation equipment like 380/132/13.8KV
GIS & S/G , power transformers, Reactors, control & protection panels ,
station batteries, battery chargers, , Fiber Optic system, Scada &
Telecommunication system with the coordination of respective divisions.
 Review contractors' claims/invoices related to construction works. Assist
in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or changes
in schedules.
 Identify any lack of resources impacting the progress of the project &
recommend the solution to the Project Director.
 Evaluate the weekly & monthly progress reports submitted by the
contractor related to civil, electrical, mechanical, SCADA &
Communication & other project related activities then report to Project
director.
 Approve the contractors' mark-up drawings and O&M manual submittals
with the coordination of all concerned divisions
 Perform regular auditing of sites to insure quality of installation, Testing &
commissioning of all equipment.
 Final inspection of the work and prepare the final snag lists. Monitor final
completion of the work.
 Follow up the snags of all old projects until finalize the snags & issue the
FAC to contractor.
