2. Group Shots
Within our photoshoot we have experimented with different camera shots, poses, facial expressions and body postures. In the
photographs the band members are looking directly into the camera with a casual facial expression as it represents a relaxed
and chilling atmosphere towards the audience. We have placed the band members in front of a brick wall as we feel it
represents an individual style and doesn’t make the band have manufactured look controlled by record labels.
3. Applying Filters
I have applied a series of filters to the photograph I wish to use for the front cover of the Digi Pack. By applying filters to
photographs it allows the Digi pack to be easily recognised as an Indie Genre. The washed down and vintage colours is a
common element seen within Indie Genre and can be seen on album covers such as ‘The Vaccines’, ‘Noah and the Whale’
and ‘Vampire Weekend’.
4. Head Shots
We have taken individual head shots of each band member to allow the audience to identify and remember each member of the band.
Each band member is looking directly into the camera to directly engage with the audience and creates a powerful look to the band.
