Yes, marketing is both an art & a science.
 MARKETING AN ART –
 A fundamental principle on buying, selling, financing, transport, storage,
standardization etc. always in practice to get desired results.
 Marketing is an art use for nuances of human behavior.
 There is issue of branding which is difficult to measure but it is necessary
for a good return on our marketing investment that requires a creative
approach.
 MARKETING A SCIENCE –
 Science defined as systemic knowledge based on certain principles which
are universally applicable that principles are based on experiment,
constant research, observation, collection of data and its interpretation.
 For every marketing action there is a reaction like newton’s third law.
 The scientific law establishes the relationship between cause & effect and
their result are definite & accurate. E.g. the rise and fall in customer
income, directly results in the fall or raise in sales of business organization.
 CONCLUSION –
 Marketing is about understanding & influencing behaviors.
 Marketing has properties of science & attribute of art.
 Marking is a science that should draw upon the art.
 Science use for determine major decisions & art use for nuances.
 Science should lead & measure and art should inspire & create i.e. the art &
science of marketing
 Marketing is about creating a demand for our product. E.g. some demand is
immediate & some of it is in future so we use science to predict the future
part but might pick a no. based on art.

IS MARKETING AN ART OR SCIENCE?

BIOTECHNOLOGY IS MARKETING AN ART OR SCIENCE Yes, marketing is both an art & a science.  MARKETING AN ART –  A fundamental principle on buying, selling, financing, transport, storage, standardization etc. always in practice to get desired results.  Marketing is an art use for nuances of human behavior.  There is issue of branding which is difficult to measure but it is necessary for a good return on our marketing investment that requires a creative approach.  MARKETING A SCIENCE –  Science defined as systemic knowledge based on certain principles which are universally applicable that principles are based on experiment, constant research, observation, collection of data and its interpretation.  For every marketing action there is a reaction like newton’s third law.  The scientific law establishes the relationship between cause & effect and their result are definite & accurate. E.g. the rise and fall in customer income, directly results in the fall or raise in sales of business organization.  CONCLUSION –  Marketing is about understanding & influencing behaviors.  Marketing has properties of science & attribute of art.  Marking is a science that should draw upon the art.  Science use for determine major decisions & art use for nuances.  Science should lead & measure and art should inspire & create i.e. the art & science of marketing  Marketing is about creating a demand for our product. E.g. some demand is immediate & some of it is in future so we use science to predict the future part but might pick a no. based on art.
