第7回「What do you like?” ~先生にインタビューしよう~」の講師伝達事項です。 外国人講師へ授業が始まる前にこの資料を確認してもらいます。

1. To all teachers who’ll take part in this lesson,

●Theme: “When is ~?”
●Grade: 7th grade
●Time: 14:25~14:45
●Lesson flow (20 minutes):
You will have 4 to 7 students at once. Please make it fair to all the students.
1. Greeting
First, please introduce yourself. ”Hello. My name is~~.”
Then, each student in the group introduce themselves. “Hello. My name is ~~.”
2. Game
①The students give you questions about when each event is held.
②Please answer it by saying “It’s on ~~(Month, day).”
ex.
Student: “When is Christmas?”
You: “It’s on December 25th.”
*Please do not change the order of “month and then day”
③And then the students look at the calendar they have so that they can look for the day you
answer on the calendar.
Repeat from procedure 1 to 3 with the other students and continue until the time. Please
make sure each student takes turns and asks you questions.
*If students struggle with understanding your answer, please try using gestures so that they
can assume the answer like pointing a number with your fingers.
*Students can get a point every time they understand your answer. Some days are randomly
bonus day, so that students can get 5 points by single question.

holidays in Japan, which you might not know. (Year 2015)

*During the lesson, keep repeating the same process, even if you have already finished the
whole flow with the same student. Also, stick strictly to the manual, because students’
vocabularies are limited. Don’t ask them to do/say something, but just follow the lesson flow
and remember to praise the students as encouragement. You can also use the following
phrases, if you were unable to understand the student.
1. Sorry?
2. Please wait for a moment.
3. Please speak more slowly.
4. Please type it.
Also, the students will call you to start the lesson, so please wait in front of the computer until
they call you.
