FleetRIDEFleetRIDE Purpose The FleetRIDE (Rating Identification Engine): Is a tool that allows Career Counselors and Sailors to view the Sailors “Best Match” ratings. Assists Sailors in determining the rating that may interest them, as well as providing the highest rate of success for both Sailors and the Navy. 4
FleetRIDEFleetRIDE and PTS CCCs use FleetRIDE to determine the best available ratings for first- term Sailors in the PTS conversion process. FleetRIDE allows the CCC to counsel and guide Sailors toward new career opportunities and rating conversions. 5
FleetRIDEFleetRIDE Algorithm Uses ASVAB, CARMAT, legal, citizenship, and medical criteria to determine score/trait requirements that an individual has. The resulting algorithm will rank the jobs (rating) for which the applicant is best qualified. For specific algorithm explanation, see the User Guide on the FleetRIDE website. 6
FleetRIDEUsing FleetRIDE CCC Functions: Enters, edits, qualifies, and ranks Sailor to CREO jobs. Defines departments within their responsible UIC(s). Creates departmental career counselor accounts. Assigns departmental career counselors to their respective UIC/Department pairs. 7
