Tuition Assistance (TA) <ul><li>Funding – Pays for tuition and published and mandatory fees charged for course enrollment, funding is done on a quarterly basis </li></ul><ul><li>Eligibility – Passed current PFA, Recommended for Promotion, No NJP in last 6 months, Not pending ADSEP, Not in DUINS status, Enough ACDU to complete course </li></ul><ul><li>Fact – Maximum amount per calendar year: $4000, no waivers </li></ul><ul><li>Maximum $250 per semester hour (16) </li></ul><ul><li>Maximum $167.67 per quarter hour (24) </li></ul><ul><li>1 Associates/1 Bachelors/1 Ph.D. </li></ul><ul><li>Application – Apply using WebTA. </li></ul>

NCPACE <ul><li>The objective of NCPACE is to provide shipboard personnel with educational opportunities comparable to those available to shore duty personnel </li></ul><ul><li>Tuition is funded 100% </li></ul><ul><li>Personnel assigned to US Naval vessels and commands with sea duty UIC of type 2 or 4. </li></ul>

US MAP <ul><li>USMAP provides Department Of Labor (DOL) registered apprenticeships to active duty service members. </li></ul><ul><li>QUALIFICATIONS   </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Active duty/FTS, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, or Navy and, </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Designated in a Rating/MOS and, </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Sufficient time to complete program while on AD </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>high school diploma or GED </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Selected trade must be your primary job at your command. </li></ul></ul>

TEXT <ul><li>What is COOL? </li></ul><ul><li>COOL (Credentialing Opportunities On-Line) explains how Navy service members can meet civilian certification and license requirements related to their ratings, jobs, designators, and collateral duties/assignments. </li></ul><ul><li>Use COOL to: </li></ul><ul><li>Get background information about civilian licensure and certification. </li></ul><ul><li>Identify licenses and certifications relevant to Navy ratings, jobs, designators, and collateral duties/assignments. </li></ul><ul><li>Learn how to fill gaps between Navy training and experience and civilian credentialing requirements. </li></ul><ul><li>Learn about resources available to Navy service members that can help them gain civilian job credentials. </li></ul><ul><li>Credentialing requirements information on COOL includes information specific to enlisted ratings, jobs, and collateral duties/assignments, and officer designators and collateral duties/assignments. Individuals seeking credentialing information for civilian occupations can use the following U.S. Department of Labor Web site: </li></ul>

MY CAA <ul><li>The MyCAA program is open to all eligible spouses </li></ul><ul><li>Spouse of an active duty or activated Reserve member in pay grades E1-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O2. </li></ul><ul><li>limited to $4,000 max benefit with a $2,000 FY cap </li></ul><ul><li>Must finish program w/in three years from the start date of the first course </li></ul><ul><li>Funding limited to Associate’s degrees, certifications and licensure programs. </li></ul>
