The FleetRIDE system uses a Sailor's test scores, qualifications, and other attributes to determine the Navy ratings they are best suited for and rank them. Career counselors use FleetRIDE to help first-term Sailors select new ratings during the conversion process from one rating to another. The system considers attributes like the ASVAB, medical information, and legal records to match Sailors to ratings requiring similar qualifications.

 The FleetRIDE (Rating
Identification Engine):
 Is a tool that allows Career
Counselors and Sailors to view the
Sailors “Best Match” ratings.
 Assists Sailors in determining the
rating that may interest them, as well
as providing the highest rate of
success for both Sailors and the
Navy.
