2. iNDiEPEDENT iNDIEPENDENT STYLE / iNDiEPEDENT MUSiC ATTRACTiNG THE AUDiENCE The elements I think attract my particular audience is the magazines colour scheme; the magazine contains bright, vibrant colours that stand out – catching the readers eyes, which is an immediate selling point of the magazine. Despite mentioning selling points of my magazine, there will be some regular readers who know what the magazine looks like straight away – by my use of the unique selling point that is the masthead.
3. SELLiNGPOiNTS OF THE MAGAZiNE iNDiEPEDENT iNDIEPENDENT STYLE / iNDiEPEDENT MUSiC Other selling points worth mentioning are previously stated, the colour scheme. Other selling points could also include the front covers contents – such as the bold D.A.V.I.S title; it clearly stands out, yet again catching the readers eye. The headlines of the magazine could also be another selling point once the reader has picked up and has started to view the magazine –deciding whether or not to buy it. Another selling point of the magazine could be the image of the alleged band – this could be a possible selling point as the reader could be buying the magazine merely to read about the particular band, so they will therefore purchase the magazine. The way I have used my font and positioned the masthead could also be a selling point. This is because each issue’s masthead will look exactly the same – same colour, font, and same usage with the lower case ‘I’s etc.
