singing lyrics of pop songs they know to them.

No prior knowledge is needed for this lesson. However, their activator will be to
write a paragraph on what they think about when they hear the world classical
music.

I have a student with ADD. I shall ensure that he/she is able to color while we are
having the listening exercise and provide pictures to look at while we are learning
more on classical music appreciation.

sample of the Viennese Musical clock
while they move around the classroom.

Ask them to mention their favorite pop
song so that we can match the lyrics to
the song.

Do the same exercise for Nutcracker
and a portion of Fur Elise.

End class by playing the Viennese
musical clock and mention that it will
be the subject of the next lesson.
