• 3. What is the purpose of the sound wave?
 • 4. The resulting structure speaks to the inevitable waves of technology that render each successive generation of recordable media obsolete. The piece also aims to physically manifest the ephemerality of music as well as one man’s musical tastes, as represented by his personal record collection.
 • 5. How does the artefact look?
 • 6. The artefact looks like a wave from the sea, but then when you look at it closer you can tell that the wave is made up of records and this is where the name comes from. ‘Sound Wave’.
 • 7. 914400-22860000What materials were used to create the sculpture?
The materials that were used to create the sculpture were newspapers
What was the process in creating the piece?
The process in creating the piece is:
Draft final designs
Form a overall structure and then place the rolled/designed newspaper into position
Carefully, glue everything in to position
Add any colour/shade is required then leave the artefact to dry
What is the purpose of the piece?
The purpose of the piece is to show that we should not misuse the priviledge of paper and we should recycle and reuse paper whenever possible
How do the artefacts look?
The artefact looks like a lion with a fierce look in its face. This could connote that we should really start to do something about our environment as animals for instant are becoming extinct. ( the newspaper creates a dead like/gruesome feeling to the artefact
114300025209500
