The Connecting Repositories (CORE) project aims to enhance access to scientific papers stored in British open access repositories through natural language processing and linked data. It involves harvesting metadata and full texts, discovering related content via text mining, and exposing RDF triples, with over 2.5 million triples available from more than 143 repositories. CORE provides applications, including a federated search system, a mobile app for accessing and downloading articles, and a plugin for digital libraries to identify semantically related documents.
