Small service population- 3,000
25% of households have children 18 and under
Library located on same block as high school
In 2012, a local youth committed suicide as a result of bullying.
Since then, the schools have worked at raising awareness and eliminating
bullying.

workshop
Open to all local teens free of charge

bullying education and guidance in
various art techniques
Weekend culminated with an art show
opening.
Art hung in library all month
5. Results
13 youths participated throughout weekend
Both group and individual projects were created and displayed
Friends, family members, and public attended art show
Librarians from district got to see display when library hosted district
meeting
