ABSTRAK
Kajian ini dijalankan bagi meningkatkan kemahiran ton warna panas murid tahun 2
dalam menghasilkan lukisan landskap menggunakan kaedah RISET. Seramai 5
orang peserta kajian telah dipilih dari sebuah sekolah kebangsaan di daerah
Ampang. Kajian berfokus kepada meningkatkan ton warna panas melalui kaedah
RISET menggunakan media kering. Kaedah RISET ini merupakan latih tubi dan
disokong oleh teori Behavioris yang menyatakan hukum latihan penting untuk murid
mencapai suatu pembelajaran. Tinjauan awal telah dilaksanakan melalui
pemerhatian, ujian diagnostik dan analisis dokumen. Keputusan mendapati
kebanyakan murid tidak dapat menghasilkan ton warna panas apabila mereka tidak
tahu nilai ton warna dan teknik ton warna yang boleh diaplikasikan menggunakan
media kering. Pengkaji mendapati karya yang dihasilkan juga kelihatan seperti dua
dimensi kerana pewarnaan tanpa ton warna dan hanya memenuhi ruang objek.
Bagi mengatasi masalah ini, kaedah RISET telah digunakan. Peserta kajian diberi
ujian pra sebelum kaedah RISET dan ujian pasca selepas dua kitaran kaedah
RISET dijalankan berpandukan daripada Model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart (1983).
Keputusan ujian pasca menunjukkan peningkatan pencapaian peserta kajian dalam
melaksanakan ujian yang diberikan. Data untuk kajian ini telah dikumpul dengan
menggunakan kaedah pemerhatian, soal selidik, ujian pra dan pasca, dan analisis
dokumen. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan peserta kajian dapat mengenal pasti jenis
warna dan ton warna, membezakan ton warna panas dan sejuk, membezakan
suasana matahari terbit dan terbenam serta meningkatkan kemahiran ton warna
panas mereka menggunakan media kering melalui kaedah RISET. Oleh itu,
dicadangkan bagi kajian seterusnya ialah kaedah RISET digabungkan dengan
teknik demonstrasi bagi mengukuhkan kemahiran ton warna panas murid.

ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to enhance the skill of Year Two producing landscape
drawing by using RISET method. Five pupils were selected from a school in
Ampang District. The research focused on refining hot colour tones through RISET
method, using dry media. The RISET method is drill exercise and supported by
Behaviouris Theory which emphasized that drill exercise is important for pupils to
achieve the targeted goal. Early observation was carried out via observation,
diagnostic test, and document analysis. The result showed that most pupils failed to
produce hot colour tone due to their incapability to evaluate the value of colour tone
and the colour tone technique which are applicable by using dry media. The
research noticed that the product was seen as two dimentional due to the absent of
colour tone. To rectify the problem RISET method was used. Sample’s were given
pre-test before using the method and post-test after two circles of RISET method
were used, based on Kemmis and McTaggart (1983) model. The findings clearly
showed that there was an improvement in the samples studied. Data for this
research was collected by observational method, questionnaire, pre and post-test
and document analysis. The finding showed that, sample were asked to identify the
type of colours and colour tones, differentiate hot and cold colour tone, discriminate
between sunset and sunrise, also enhance their skills in the usage of hot colour
tone, using dry media through RISET method. Thus further research is suggested to
study the combination of RISET method with demonstration technique to fortify
pupils hot colour tone skills.
