4. WOVEN
STRUCTURES:
These samples has been
woven using variety of weaves
(Back fabric, Multilayer,
Extra weft, Extra warp, Extra
weft & warp, Quilting) and
different yarns (count 10 - 60).
18. PRINT CONCEPT
A flower is took from nature to develop a print for saree by
abstracting the form to set a repeat consisting Bel, Buta & Jaal.

20. SHAPING UP FABRIC
Explored shaping different fabrics like glass nylon, organza, polyester, net in different forms.
21. Heat setting is done on different type of fabrics with synthetic fibre.
22. Advance surface design
If we look at ‘Flash Mobs’- how the entire act is carried out. They appear
from amidst the crowd, perform for sometime in a preplanned pattern
(choreographed moves) and then disperse all of a sudden into the crowed as
if nothing happened !!
The same rhythm can be reflected by means of juxta positioning a random &
synchronised pattern. play of regular and irregular in terms of color, texture
& form.

The explorations were done in the industry employing the techniques like shibori, arashi, tie dye, bleaching, indigo
dye, dip dye, hypo spray and screen prints on light weight Indigo fabrics. The art works were displayed at Premiere
Vision’ 12, Paris for the Arvind Ltd. pavilion.

30. SCREENS FOR OUTDOOR CAFETERIA
Developed the screens inspired from a structure of beehive with the mix of indian and contemporary art. Materials used are net, plastic, small round
mirrors, metal chain.
34. Created a moisture absorbing foot mat using numbers of potli filled with polyfill as well as thermacol balls in some. Potlis
with thermacol balls helps the person to feel relaxed and potlis with polyfill inside helps in absorbing water. This mat
serves a multipurpose solution of relaxtation as well as absorbancy.
35. Taking an unusual flower i.e; fennel and abstracting it for exploring
different prints. Prints are first done on paper using different colors
and colored pens, then these prints are applied on fabric.

41. DIPLOMA PROJECT
HOME FURNISHING - Bedding collections
Ocean Group is a professionally managed manufacturers and exporters
of home textiles and apparels. Headquartered in Jaipur (India) a city
synonymous for its arts and crafts, it offers a wide range of designs with
fashion-forward color and pattern.
The initial brief of this project was to conceive and develop designs for
3-4 bedding collections based on screen printing.
The products were to be designed for the season, Back To School (BTS)
2014, targeting the US Market. The brief implied a good understanding
of the future market trends in the relevant home-furnishing sector and
the prospective buyers.
