3. King Kong - 1933 Early stop motion animation was extremely basic, starting of experimenting with only a pencil and paper. Gradually by the 1930;s, we can now see it had slightly improved. Although, the film was amazingly basic The film was in black and white, and the quality of the images or models were without a doubt very simply made. Even though their was sound including speaking it was very hard to understand. Overall the quality of early stop motion animation films was very poor.
4. Wallace and Gromit The Wrong Trousers - 1993 As stop motion animation slowly advanced, we can see a clear change in the improvements that have taken place. Stop motion animation now made their objects out of clay giving the film a very 3D look. Its a long process that is very worth it at the end. The characters do speak often and its very clear to understand. Colours have now been added giving a much greater effect. In the end this film was a great success and was very professionally made even though stop motion animation still has a long way to go,
