2. What is Slow motion Animation Slow motion animation is when you draw or use other materials such as clay which is sculpted then moved or drawn a tiny bit ,each stage is photographed then put together so it flows like a film.
3. James Stuart Plankton 1906 Analysis When Slow motion animation started it was drawn images on Papers/boards and to add that moving affect they would have to rub out and change the image slightly but taking pictures of each tiny change they make as they go along. The images above are quite simple and drawn with white chalk. The Images do very simple action and does not look very professional.
4. Tim Burton – The nightmare before Christmas(1993) Analysis This is a much advanced slow motion animation, where animators began to use clay as a material but also included hand drawn images which they later moved to add that effect. It is a very long process but worth it at the end. The nightmare before Christmas has got a lot of colour and real life objects. Also the film has sound so every character has a voice of their own which is really clear .The film flows very well and you can actually tell that the film is made with clay and actually looks 3D.
5. Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit- 2005 Analysis Recently Slow motion animation is made by clay fully. The most complicated and detail film made by clay and animated by slow motion animation is Wallace and grommit which has immense detail and took a very long time to make. The film has no faults and adds a Unique look to all the characters . The sound is good and goes with the characters actions.
