1. My school in London

3. This is the headmaster. The teachers wear a
smart uniform.

4. This is me, on my first day
of school. We start school
when we are 5 years old.
In England, we have to
wear a school uniform.

5. In primary school we have a uniform….
But in secondary school
our uniform is smarter.
At my school, girls and
boys had to wear a tie
and a shirt.

7. We are only allowed to wear black shoes

9. Our lunch break is for 1 hour.
During that hour we have to stay and have lunch in the
school.
We are not allowed to
Leave the school for lunch.

10. We eat school in the school canteen. We have hot
meals.

11. In the winter it is very cold.
We wear coats, scarves, hats and gloves to
school.

12. My school is strict.
If we do not do our homework, we have to miss break time. We are not
allowed to play outside.
No homework = no play time! 

13. We have lots of after school clubs. we can do….

14. School holidays
In November we have ‘half term’. We do not go to school for 1 week!
At Christmas we have about 2 weeks. 19th December – 5th January
In February we have another half term – 1 week
At Easter we have 2 weeks
We finish school for summer on July 6th for 6 weeks

15. We have a school Choir.

16. Our school is Christian.
On Tuesday and Thursday we have assembly. We pray together.

17. We have grass to play sports on.
We have a swimming pool
