1. Daily life at
Hagen School
Made by Sebastian, sixth
grade and Oda, seventh
grade

2. In the morning
 The school starts at
8.30, and by then
all the pupils have
come.
 Some take the bus,
while others walk.

3. Before lunch
 We have two hours
of work before we
eat.
 We have Norwegian,
English, maths, music,
gym, arts and crafts,
natural science,
social subject and
the sixth graders
learn how to make
food.

4. Lunch
 We get 15 minutes to
eat our food.
 Everyone takes their
own food from
home.
 Sometimes we have
a canteen.
 You can order milk
and fruit so you get it
every day.

5. Break
 In the summer most
pupils play football.
 In the winter the pupils
do different things.
 The break lasts for 40
minutes.
 We’ve got swings and
a playground.
 After break we’ve got
another hour of work.

6. Last part of the day
 Then we’ve got
another break
before the last hour
of school.
 5-7. grade have one
hour longer school
day on Thursdays.
 The pupils have the
opportunity to stay
one hour after
school, to get help
with their homework.

7. SFO
 You can go to SFO
after school if you
are a 1-4 grader.
 There you eat a
late lunch and play
on a computer or
in the gym.
 You can stay there
until five.

 After school the
teachers plan the
next schoolday,
and talk with each
other.
 The teachers have
a common
meeting on
Tuesdays from 2-4.
