After you have logged in Moodle, click on your name at the top right hand corner of the screen if you want to write blogs.

Then click the Blog tab.

To start blogging, click on Add a new entry in the middle or in the Blog Menu listed on the right side of the screen.

You must enter a blog title, for example, “Blog in Moodle” in the Entry title field.

You can then start typing your content.

Make use of the HTML editor to format your content if necessary.

You can add a file to your content. Click on Browse... beside Attachment ...

select the file you want to upload, then click on Open.

The file will be uploaded to your blog post when you publish your content.

If you want to keep your content private, set it as Yourself (draft) in the Publish to field.

If you let every user to view your content, set Publish to Anyone on this site.
You can change this option anytime after you have published your blog entry.

You can add some tags into your content, so that people can easily access your post by the tags. In this case, add “Moodle, Blog”.

Finally, click on Save changes to publish your content.

You can click on Edit at the bottom of your post if you want to modify it.

Now let’s go click on View site entries to view the blog posts published by other users in Moodle.

You can see other user’ posts in Moodle.You may click on a blog tag to access the posts that have that same tag.

You can change the number of blog entries per page by clicking on Blog preferences,

By default, the number of entries is 10.

Change the number, say to 50, then Click on Save changes. Then number of blog entries per page is changed.

If you want to view all Blog posts entered by the course participants, simply click the View course entries tab in the Blog Menu on
the right hand side of the screen.
