After logging in to Moodle, click on the name of the course, e.g Demo Course,
in which you want to submit your text assignment.

To start an online text assignment submission, click on the assignment link. In this case,
click on the assignment link named "Online Text Assignment: Learning Strategies”.

You should be aware that instructions or criteria of the assignment are usually given by the teacher.
You can find them on the top of the page.

Available from shows the date and time you can start submitting your assignment;
and Due date is the deadline for submission.
Check the dates carefully and don’t miss the submission deadline.

Click on the Edit my submission button to start typing in the content of your assignment online.

You can now type in or copy and paste the content of your assignment into the Submission text box.

After inputting the content, click on the Save changes button.

Once the text content is submitted successfully, the Last edited date and time together with
the number of words will be displayed (as shown above).

You can edit the content by clicking on the Edit my submission button.
You are strongly advised to complete all necessary revisions before the due date.
11. Centre for Learning, Teaching and Technology Moodle Series: Submitting Online Text Assignment
When the due date is over, the Edit my submission button will not be shown anymore
and you WILL NOT be able to revise your text.
12. Centre for Learning, Teaching and Technology Moodle Series: Submitting Online Text Assignment
When you have finished submitting your text,
click on the Demo Course button to return to the course page.
