committee reports will be shown.
Committee Reports:
Curriculum
The Spring 2014 "joint campus" catalog is at the printers. This will be the first catalog where all
of the campus programs will be listed in one catalog......each campus will continue to be
separated into its own section. This joint catalog will make it easier for ALL members to look at
the programs of other campuses and see if they would like to attend some classes that interest
them. The "global membership" will be $55.00 and will allow you to attend classes any or all
campuses.....of course some classes may have additional fees for supplies. Catalogs are
expected to be mailed to ALL members by the last week of December. The catalog will be
posted on the college website shortly thereafter.
The Fall session is winding down and will end with our Holiday Party on Friday, December 13th,
from 11:00-1:00. This is a potluck where people can bring a dish to share and drop in when it is
convenient for them during the stated times. We do have some giveaways for each ALL
member that attends.
The Spring semester will be here quicker than you can say Happy New Year. Registration will be
Saturday, January 11th from 10:00-Noon. We need to recruit people for Registration.....it takes
a bunch of people in various jobs to make Registration successful.....so ask the people you know
in ALL to see if they will volunteer. We will have a volunteer Sign-Up Sheet at the Holiday
Party. Encourage people to get involved with Registration and Committees; especially the
Curriculum Committee.

Bus Trips
We have not had a bus trip since the last advisory board meeting.
Our last trip for 2013 will be Saturday, December 21: lunch at Saltgrass Steak House followed by
the Christmas show at the Liberty Opry. The deadline to cancel is Thursday, Dec 12. So far 6
people have cancelled and three of the six places have been filled.
The committee is now planning our first quarter trips for 2014. Here is what has been decided
so far:
Tuesday, Jan 21: Hill County tour with guide

2. Sunday, Feb 23: Play in Conroe with lunch before
Wednesday, March 12: Broadacres Walking Tour with Preservation Houston,
lunch and a museum visit in the afternoon
The committee will meet on Monday, December 16 to discuss dates and destinations for the
first quarter of 2014. We call for buses on January 7.

Communication and Membership
I have not received any new information so I assume the membership count remains what it
was on the last report.
We will shortly be in the period between sessions. We will continue to update the blog in the
event that other programs have something going on.

We have no activity this month.

For December there will be no Meet You There event. We will resume in January.

A Holiday Party – Pot luck is planned for Friday (12/13/2013) from 11am-1pm in HSC 105/106.
