Relativism in Philosophy
Philosophy student Zenon Lys will present two theories regarding Relativism, The
idea that Truth, knowledge and morality are relative to society, culture and
religion, and that no absolute truth exists.
Epistemic Relativism deals with knowledge and truth, in that there is no absolute
truth regarding Knowledge or Facts.
Moral Relativism deals with morality, and the idea of how "Good" and "Bad"
change from person to person.
There are Supporters and Dissenters to both of these positions in Philosophy. Come
to this class to hear the perspectives of a younger man (student) who is interested in
philosophical studies.
