Definition: Steroids is any of numerous naturally
occurring or synthetic fat-soluble organic
compounds having as a basis 17 carbon atoms
arranged in four rings and including the sterols and

Statistic: To the Monitoring Future Survey by The
University of Michigan, in 2006, 2.7% of high school
seniors reported they had tried steroids at least once
in their lifetime

benefits for steroids?
Barry Bonds took steroids and to that result he was
fined.
Marion Jones took steroids and she was addicted.

for athletes to take steroids?
 It would give players an extra advantage to win.
Fans would be disappointed and angry with the
players dishonesty.

steroids?
They want speed and energy.
They want to win competitions and raise their
stamina.

Floyd Landis Kept thinking it was cheating but he
kept taking steroids until older age.
Barry Bonds now thinks it is very bad to take steroids,
it can lead into a major health issue.
