1. Equipment and Props
When filming in the studio, we knew
that we would need some props and
equipment that we could use. We made
a quick list of the props and equipment
we would need and we then went into
the filming studio and took pictures of
the props and equipment we could use.
Cameras:
In the studio there are a few
cameras available that we could
have used. There were theCanon EOS
550D cameras as well as the more advanced
cameras that we could use if we wanted to
use green screen. These cameras also had
an auto cue underneath the lens, which
meant that if we used these cameras we
could have put the lyrics underneath.
Lights:
Lights would also be a major part of the equipment list
and vital to the video as this would help us create a major
contrast between the two scenarios. In the studio we
would have the lights behind the band making the
silhouette effect. To successfully execute the effect we
used the studio lights. We used these lights as we could
adjust the angle and height on them. Since there were
four lights it meant that we could position the lights, two
small ones in the middle and a large one at each side.
This meant that most of the band were blocked out.
