1) Manila Mariam Mathews filed a writ petition challenging her result for the National Eligibility Test conducted in June 2012. 2) The court heard this petition along with three other similar petitions. 3) After the petitions were filed, the University Grants Commission published a supplementary list that included all the petitioners and showed they had passed the test. 4) Given that the petitioners' names were in the supplementary list and they had passed, the court closed the petitions without any further orders.

JUDGMENT
These writ petitions have been filed seeking for various reliefs as regards the declaration of
results of the petitioners who had appeared for the National Eligibility Test.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that subsequent to the filing of the writ
petitions, the University Grants Commission has published a supplementary list of candidates who
have passed the test and all the petitioners' names appear in the said list and they have passed the
test also.
In the light of the above, it is submitted that no further orders are called for in these writ
petitions. Accordingly the writ petitions are closed.
No costs.
