3. The largest boom in the Aldercote
range of van mounts makes its
global debut at Vertikal Days.
4. The VZX185 takes 18m van-mounted booms to a new level
in terms of payload, outreach and lift capacity. It provides
10.3m of maximum horizontal outreach, with automatic
outreach optimisation based on real-time load in the
platform; and a safe working load of up to 200kg.
5. Mounted on a 5.2t Iveco Daily chassis, the
Aldercote VZX185 offers more than 1,000kg of
spare payload, after factoring in two occupants
and a full tank of fuel.
6. The innovative turret and pedestal
configuration - unique to Aldercote - creates
additional storage space in the cargo area,
while also improving access for service and
maintenance.
7. The emergency lowering controls are also now
installed inside the van, instead of on the roof,
improving health and safety for service
engineers and operators.
8. Also making its debut at Haydock is the brand new mobile parts
store from replacement parts specialist, IPS. These chassis cabs
are fitted with custom box bodies, built and racked out to IPS’
specific requirements. The new design creates more floor space,
enabling each van to carry more product lines.
10. On the Hinowa stand will be the new Lightlift
15.70 Performance IIIS. This is the first
opportunity to see the tracked boom in the UK,
following its successful launch at Bauma.
11. The fourth model in Hinowa’s Lightlift Performance IIIS
range, it has compact dimensions, with an overall length of
4.02m, width of 0.78m and stowed height of 1.99m. Like
other Lightlifts, it is available powered by Lithium-Ion
batteries, providing clean, quiet, emissions-free operation.
12. The 15.70 has superb working envelope, providing
outreach of 6.6m while elevating to 10m, and still working
flush to a wall. The machine can lift 230kg – enough for
two people with tools – without restriction throughout its
entire working envelope. Platform rotation is offered as
standard.
14. Californian manufacturer MEC AWP will showcase one of its innovative
4069 ERT-A scissor lifts specifically designed for aircraft ground support
applications. Features include variable vertical collapsing guardrails;
padded protection bumpers with cut-out sensors to prevent damage to
aircraft; and market-leading “over-wing” reach due to the patented
scissor stack design and deck extension.
