It seldom feels natural
it is barely customizable by the user him/herself
… and let’s face it who would want to use it if the had a choice?
=> implementing social media, multimedia and quizzes into one learner-centered course does not require a LMS

Chaos happens
The more learner-centered learning is happening, the more (content) chaos will be created

Where does natural contemporary learning occur?
In those places the learner chooses
With people the learner can react with (social network)
On both an informal and a formal basis
With devices the learner chooses

So we build a content agora
Software used: Articulate presenter

What needed to be put into place?
Training for those not familiar with social media logic (e-course in the agora)
Introduction to some social media specifics (e.g. use an openID)

Customization of the learning environment
Look at different learners and see whether all of the types of learners feel comfortable, or whether the use of social media increases the threshold for some
Security censorship by some company firewalls preventing learners to access all the material
