Melalui kegiatan mendengarkancerita bahasa Jawa, siswa dapat menangkap, memahami, dan mengingat dengansebaik-baiknya terhadap sesuatu yang didengar. Pembelajaran mendengarkancerita kurang diminati oleh siswa. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena belumtersedianya bahan ajar yang mendukung proses pembelajaran, rendahnya minatsiswa terhadap untuk belajar mendengarkan cerita bahasa Jawa, dan metode yangkurang tepat yang digunakan oleh guru. Maka dari itu, bahan ajar dibutuhkanuntuk mengatasi hambatan belajar dan mendukung kelancaran pembelajaranmendengarkan cerita bahasa Jawa. Tujuan pengembangan bahan ajar ini adalah menghasilkan produkbahan ajar mendengarkan cerita bahasa Jawa berbasis audio serta untukmengetahui kelayakan bahan ajar tersebut dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Terdapattiga kompetensi dasar yang digunakan dalam pengembangan bahan ajar ini,yaitu(1) mendengarkan cerita tentang pengalaman menarik, (2) mendengarkan cerita,dan (3) mendengarkan cerita tentang tokoh pendidikan. Produk akhirpengembangan ini berbentuk CD dengan bantuan fasilitas komputer atau laptopserta fasilitas audio. Hasil uji bahan ajar dengan ahli materi pembelajaran bahasa Jawamenunjukkan rata-rata kelayakan sebesar 83,00% dan ahli media audio sebesar76%. Kedua ahli tersebut menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar tersebut dinyatakansangat valid dan siap diimplementasikan. Hasil uji dengan guru bahasa Jawamenunjukkan rata-rata kelayakan sebesar 82,50%, sedangkan dengan kelompokbesar menunjukkan 81,50%. Kedua hasil uji coba dengan instrument angketmenunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar tersbut sangat valid. Hasil belajar siswa seluruhsiswa setelah menunjukkan penggunaan bahan ajar senilai 79. Hasil nilai tersebutsudah mencapai nilai Stndar Ketuntasan Minimal (SKM) yaitu 65 dan dapatmendukung kelayakan bahan ajar setelah diujikan kepada siswa tanpa perludirevisi. Kesimpulan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah hasil uji bahanajar mendengarkan cerita bahasa Jawa berbasis audio menunjukkan bahwa produkbahan ajar tergolong sangat valid dan dapat diimplementasikan. Sebagai langkahpemanfaatan produk hasil pengembangan, guru disarankan menggunakan bahanajar ini pada pembelajaran mendengarkan cerita bahasa Jawa sebagai salah satualternatif sumber belajar bagi peserta didik. Selain guru, siswa juga disarankanmemanfaatkan bahan ajar ini dalam pembelajaran di kelas sehingga terciptasuasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan hasil belajar yang memuaskan. Bagi

Throughlistening to Javanese language story, students can catch, comprehend, and recallwell to something that they hear. The lesson of listening to story is less attractivefor students. That problem is caused by the unavailability of instructionalmaterials that support the learning process, the lack of students’ interest inlearning Javanese language story, and the inappropriate methods used by teachers.Thus, instructional materials are needed to cope with the learning obstacle and tosupport the smoothness of listening Javanese language story learning. The purpose of the material development is to create an audio basedinstructional material product for the learning of listening to Javanese languagestory and also to know the appropriateness of the instructional material in thelearning in class. There are three basic competences used in developing thisinstructional material namely (1) listening to an interesting experience story, (2)listening to story, and (3) listening to the story of educational figures. The finalproduct of the instructional material development is in the form of CD with thehelp of computer or laptop and audio facilities. The result of validity test of the instructional material development withthe expert of Javanese language learning material shows that the averageappropriateness is 83,00%, and with the expert of audio media is 76%. Those twoexperts agree that the instructional material is very valid and ready to beimplemented. The result of validity test with the teacher of Javanese languageshows that the average appropriateness is 82,50%, and with big group is 81,50%.Two experiment results by using questionnaire show that the instructionalmaterial is very valid. The result of students’ learning after using the productincreases, 79. That score result has reached Minimum Passing Grade that is 65and can support the appropriateness of the instructional material after it is tried outto students without revision. The conclusion of this research and development is the test result of audiobased instructional material of Javanese story language listening shows that theinstructional material product is very valid and can be implemented. As theutilization of this development product, it is suggested that teachers use thisinstructional material as one of the alternative learning sources for learners in thelesson of listening to Javanese language story. Besides, students are alsosuggested to utilize this instructional material in the learning process in class sothat fun learning activity and satisfying learning results can be achieved. For theresearcher and other researches, this research and development can be a guide to
