Harnessing ICT in PAN Card Issuance Existing Customer Service Process –Enrolment & Issuance of PAN application Application filling & payment at PCC (after initial scrutiny) Customers walk in at reception Load database files, Data verification & conversion Add/convert to card file format Send to H/o for card printing Card printing Dispatch Temporary storage of data at RO & send files for further processing at CPC Data Uploaded to CBDT Print PAN card & letter Data entry, photo & signature scanning at RO Issue acknowledgement, send appn’s to RO Send file back to CPC (for processing)
