feed their children.
They give up their babies
because they feel they have no
choice and put them in an
orphanage.
What is the problem?
3. Where are we working?
We are currently working in the capital
of Uganda, Kampala.
4. What are we doing about it?
Child’s i Foundation wanted to help these
babies and their parents so they grow up
in a FAMILY

We put a video on the
internet and people
joined a community to
start raising money.
They jumped out of
planes, swapped clothes,
ran marathons and
abseiled.
9. Our baby shower.
We asked our supporters for help to
buy furniture and supplies. We had a
massive baby shower!
10. Opening Day
In April 2010, We opened a
transitional babies home
called Malaika* and welcomed
the first baby! The aim is to
provide short term life-
saving care.
(*Malaika means angel in Swahili).
