1. National Account Manager/ Business Development - Packaging
A leading National Plastic Packaging Manufacturer is seeking a National
Accounts/Business Development Manager for their Rigid Packaging Group. The
company produces products that meet the requirements of end-use applications
in the chemicals, coatings and food industries.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
• Sell, promote and service the complete line of rigid packaging containers
through face-to-face contact and frequent communication with National
Accounts
• Develop & implement strategic selling plans, and territorial sales plans
with input from the Director of Sales
• Attend local & national trade associations and meetings as directed
Requirements:
• BS Degree
• 7-10 years proven success in sales to the food industry (preferred), with
additional experience dealing with National Accounts
• Good computer skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Strong initiative
• Ability & license to operate a passenger motor vehicle
• Up to 40% overnight travel required
The company is offering a base income of $90-110K with 50% target bonus
with no cap, company car, expenses, and excellent benefits.
