This document describes a simulation game called Featureban that is used to teach kanban concepts like visualizing workflow, limiting work-in-progress, and using metrics. The game involves groups organizing sticky notes representing tasks on a board as they progress through simulated "days". Players toss coins to determine if they can move tasks between columns or must block a task. Later iterations add WIP limits and tracking of metrics like lead time. Debriefs discuss observations and parallels to real work environments.
