2. USAGE PRESENT SIMPLE
To point out habits
To point out occasions
For fixed future, event and facts
Ex; I always eat vegetables
The word always signals that it’s an habit
3. HOW TO FORM THE PRESENT SIMPLE
After he/she/it the verb gets an extra s. For example: He walk(s),
she (sleeps), he always (runs) etc. But there is an exception!!! If
the verb already ends with an S then you ad -es- for example;
go, you can't say he gos. It becomes; he goES. Furthermore you
need to pay attention to the forms in the sentences. Be careful
with the "be" forms and the have/has. He/she results in has. You
can't say he/she have.
4. USAGE PAST SIMPLE
If something happened in the past and ended in the past we use
the past simple.
• The past simple is used for a sequence of actions that are
completed in the past.
• You can find a lot of signal words when using this form. For
example; yesterday, last year, this morning etc. This makes it a
lot easier of course
5. HOW TO FORM THE PAST SIMPLE
• So how do we form this tense? We need to distinguish between
regular and irregular verbs. With regular verbs you put -ed-
behind the verb. The irregular verbs should be learned by
heart. You can find it on google.
