2. Math integers are math numbers that have to do with possitive numbers and negative numbers. Like -3 + -5 = -8
3. But when you have trouble, you use a number line. <-4 -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4>
4. When you subtract integers, It's very different. Like -1 - +3, you actually change the question! You change the + to a – and change the +3 to a -3, and then solve the problem. Before: -1 - +3 After: -1 + -3 Subtracting integers
5. Multiplying and Dividing integres # = a random number. It's the same concept, you multiply, but when its like -3 x -3 = ? its different. When you multiply -# x -# it equals a +#. But whenever you do a +# x +#, it's always a +#. Same EXACT thing with dividing. -3 x -3 = +6 and +4 x -4 = -16
