    •  Pimpri – Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) constituted inthe year 1982 The body constitutes of Elected wing headed by – Mayor Administrative wing headed by – Municipal Commissioner We manage about 181 sq.kms of area through our 4 Ward offices We have over 40 departments with a workforce of about 7500employeesInstitutional set up
    • Institutional set up We are fully e-governed Corporation We received International Organization ofStandard (ISO) Certification (ISO 9001:2008) forQuality Management System.
    • Responsible for Area planning Infrastructure planning, implementation and operation &maintenance of services in the areas of Water Supply, Sewerage and Sanitation, Solid Waste Management, Roads and Transportation, Street lighting, Health and recreational facilities, Education (134 primary and 18 secondary schools) Preservation of natural heritage (river conservation), Development of housing facility for urban poor/ slums.

    • The Intelligent Transit Management System (ITMS) shall comprise ofthe following distinctive applications.• Automated Fare Collection System• GPS based Fleet Monitoring System• Vehicle Scheduling & Dispatch System• Passenger Information System• Financial Management System / Central Clearing House System• Depot Management System & Bus Terminal Management System• Incident Management System / Call centre Management System• Business Intelligent System• Enterprise Management SystemThe estimated cost is Rs.19.07 Cr. for both hardware & software partof ITMS. The total O & M cost for 6 years on annuity basis is worked outas Rs. 30.65 Cr.ITMS
    • Technical StudiesProcurement of Consultant for Monitoring & Evaluation of BTRS services on all 4 corridors in PCMC area—IBI Group, Canada has been appointed on 1stMarch 2013. Access plan to BRT corridor by Pedestrian & NMT–Proposal from MVA Asia consultancy is in process of acceptance. Parking policy & Management --Proposal from UMTC consultancy is in process of acceptance. Promotion & Out reach Program –Proposal from IBI Group Canada consultancy is in process ofacceptance. Consultancy for O & D survey of corridor No. 3&4 –Aakar Abhinav,Mumbai has been appointed on 1stMarch 2013. Consultancy for Safety Audit of Pune –Mumbai Road.Proposal from IIT Mumbai (Powai) is in process of acceptance.
