Malam Jaba being the most
attractive tourist resort is
famous for its enormous
potential for skiing. Pepole
from all over the country and
even from abroad come here
to enjoy skiing. SRSP in
response to a request from the
communities arranged a one
day skiing competition under
youth development activity on
March 21, 2014. The players
from the local communities
took part in the competition.

3. The event was also utilized as exposure visit for the staff from four
Districts i.e. District Shangla, District Buner, District Malakand and
District Swat. The event was attended by a large gathering from the
communities of Union council Kishawara and union council
Telegram. The players exhibited unbelievable feats of skiing and
entertained the audience.

4. The emerging youth of the area did not keep
themselves behind on this occasion. These kids
provided warmth to the event time and again
enchanting slogans of SRSP and EU. The
audience took extreme interest in the show
being presented by these kids.

6. The VOs formed in the area took the lead in all the arrangements
and displayed banners of their VOs all around which was an evident
proof of their interest and ownership. The community elders
termed the activity as a source of inspiration for the youth of the
area. They claimed that such an activity will foster more players of
the this game and in future the talent of the locals will be groomed
even more by the arrangement of such healthy and visible
activities.

8. Mr. Ijaz Ali Khan (DPM Swat region) termed
the well organized event as an outcome of a
well organized community. He said that
arrangement of such successful events is an
easy task for communities which are
organized. He stressed upon the communities
to strive for the LSO formation as the mile
stone is extremely essential for every union
council.
At the end trophies were given away by Ijaz
Khan , other SRSP officials from different
districts and the community elders.
