Subject: Evaluation of EOIs/Pre-Qualification of Investors for Five Star
Resort / Hotel Project at Changla Gali and Tourist Recreation
/ Sports Facilities / Theme Parks at Hund
Meeting of the committee constituted vide Notification NO:
SO(Tourism) 5 - 75/2010/2538-40 Dated 9th April 2014 for tourism related
projects was held on Monday, 20th October 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Committee
Room of P & D Department under the Chairmanship of Additional Chief
Secretary, P & D.

The chairman in his opening remarks suggested that as per
previous practice adopted in case of Malam Jabba Ski / Chairlift and Hotel
Project a sub-committee may be constituted on similar lines to prepare a
criteria for the pre-qualification of interested parties/firms as well as the
criteria for scrutiny of technical proposals to be received from the pre-qualified

2. bidders. The sub-committee will present the proposed criteria for approval of
the main committee.
The Sub-committee for the Changla Gali project will comprise of the
followings:
1. Managing Director, Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Chairman of the sub-committee
2. Member of Finance Department
3. Member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade
4. Member of Galliat Development Authority
5. One or two co-opted members who will be the subject specialists of
Hotel projects
The main committee has allowed the sub-committee to select
the independent subject specialists of Hotel projects from the open market for
support in the scrutiny process.
In case of the Recreation/Sports Facilities/Theme Parks Project
at Hund, District Swabi, It was suggested by the Chairman that
representatives of Irrigation Department and Fisheries Department may be
included in the above sub-committee for Changla Gali project.
The chairman while fixing the timeline suggested that the sub-
committee will submit its recommendations to the main committee by 6th
November 2014. It was decided that that a meeting of the sub-committee may
be held on Monday, 27th October 2014 at 11:00 AM in the office of Managing
Director, Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to expedite the matter.
