Many Android users seem to think that their smartphone becomes slow over a period of time. In this
article we’ll look at all possibilities and reasons why your Android phone is running slower than normal.

3. Tap Settings | Apps icons.
4. Tap All icon at the bottom right corner.
5. App Info page will open containing a list
of all apps installed in your Android phone.
6. Select an app.
7. Tap “Clear Cache” button under
“Cache” category.
3. Restore App Settings to Defaults

2. Tap “Clear Defaults” button under
“Launch by default” category.
4. Forcefully Stop Unused Apps

2. Tap “Force Stop” button to stop
execution of the app.
5. Remove App Icons fromthe Home Scree
1. In the Home Screen tap and hold an
icon.
2. You’ll see two options at the top of the
screen namely Edit and Remove.
3. Continue holding and drag the same to
“Remove” option.
6. CheckData Usage and Remove High Resources Consuming Apps
1. Tap the Menu icon.
2. Tap Settings icon.
3. Scroll down the page.
4. Click the Apps icon.
5. It may take some time to load list of
downloaded items. You’ll see different
categories at the bottom of the page, viz.
Downloaded, On-Phone Storage, Running
and All.
6. Tap the “Running” icon.
7. Running apps list will be displayed.
8. Check which apps are using more processes
and services. We can’t provide list of high-
resource consuming app as it varies depending
on different apps and smartphone configurations.
Simply look at the “x process and x services”
label below the app name where “x” represents a
number.
9. List the names of high resource consuming
apps somewhere.
10. Tap the “Downloaded” icon.
10. Tap the name of any high-resource
consuming app.

11. Confirm the action, if prompted to do so.
