will analyse the facts by getting
more information about the
process which can help in
making the necessary changes
to eliminate waste when possible.
6. KAIZEN PROGRAM ROLLOUT PLAN
Forming a Kaizen team of 2-3 members Central team
Divide the process -Unloading, Loading, Exceptions, Processing, Staging Kaizen team
Minimum one Kaizen from each TC every Month. TC Manager
Horizontal deployment to other areas to be checked by the kaizen team TC Manager & Kaizen team
Kaizen competition to be held semi annually Kaizen team
TC manager to lter best three kaizen and submit TC Manager
All entries to be scrutinized by the central kaizen team and asset owner – Region wise Kaizen team
Top 3 from each region will be assessed on set Parameters Kaizen team
Top 3 out of this 12 will be selected and rewarded Kaizen team
Rewards of 5000/3000/2000 and certicates to be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd kaizens
respectively Kaizen team
Identify one Kaizen Champion per zone Regional Heads
Kaizen champion to ensure the implementation of Kaizen for that region and cross
deployment of Kaizen from other Zones etc.

Monthly review with Kaizen champions to track the progress of Kaizens selected and
implemented at TC level

8. KAIZEN ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
Waste Elimination Effectiveness : How well the team Identied, Acknowledged and Eliminated waste in the process.
E.g :-Indiscriminate use of repacking tapes
Standardization of identied Kaizen : How the Kaizens are standardized and executed all the time.
Degree of Difculty – Technical and Change Management.
All On-roll resource at TC is eligible to participate.
Only individual entries are allowed.
Rewards will be given as Gift Voucher.
