Nisa 4: 34. Men are the protectors and maintainers of women,
because Allah has made one of them to excel the other, and
because they spend (to support them) from their means.

1. Husband is solely responsible for the household
2. Wife may help which will be her Ihsaan
3. Wife can give Zakat to her husband but not vice versa
4. Both husband and wife are independent owners
5. Joint ownership not permissible as it interferes with
division of inheritance

•Money to marriage is like food to the body
•If you live to eat you become obese and die
•If you eat to live you live healthy and happy
Use it but don’t let it use you

Hujuraat 49: 12. O you who believe! Avoid suspicion,
indeed some suspicions are sins. And don’t spy, neither
backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the
flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate
backbiting) . And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who
accepts repentance, Most Merciful.
